Welcome to my Christmas project! Let me introduce my character – the girl Anna.
I'll show you how I created and drew her.
I started with the analysis and pencil sketches. What will my heroine be like?
What character will she have?
When I roughly decided what the image of my character would be,
I started sketching the face and emotions.
I’m going to depict Anna at home and in the street, so I started creating clothing options.
In order for my character to always look like herself, I need to draw her a dozen times and in different poses. I drew many sketches, and I'll show you just a part of them.
As it is winter, my character wears winter clothes outside and pajamas and holiday attire at home. My goal is that Anna was recognizable in any clothes.
After drawing many sketches, I made the first illustration in color.
In addition to the main character, I created a little Anna’s friend named Cookie.
In this illustration, you can see them together.
I'll show in another project what purpose these characters were created for. I like them so much. Last year, I decided to print postcards with their images. I sold them to the followers on my Instagram page.
